Clinical Reflexology

Reflexology is an evidence-based, complementary therapy that works by applying gentle pressure to reflex points on the feet that relate to glands, organs and systems within the body.

There are different styles of reflexology; my approach is based on a knowledge of anatomy and physiology, and focuses first on engaging the central nervous system. This helps to relieve stress and provide support to your body’s natural inclination to regulate and restore itself. Reflexology can also be helpful in supporting circulation and lymphatic flow.

Relaxation Massage

Relaxation Massage is a treatment designed to relax and soothe, rather than to relieve chronic pain or other underlying conditions.

Due to its gentle nature, it has a calming effect on the nervous system – reducing stress and pain and promoting a healing environment within the body.

Relax & Rest

The only downside of a relaxation treatment is when you have to immediately step back in to the world.

Now you can take your time to return to the real world, and allow the benefits of your relaxation treatment to continue to work their magic. The Resting Space is right next door to The Relaxation Room, and you can add a stay (long or short) onto your reflexology or massage treatment. Click on the button below to ask about rates.

What is this?

I think taking proactive care of your wellbeing is super important. It’s easy to forget to thank your amazing body for all the hard work it does without you realising it. It helps you bounce back after a tough day, keeps your heart beating, and wants your smile to shine. Your body truly deserves a regular thank you.

The “I’m Taking a Break” card is my way of encouraging and supporting you to take a break from the world and nourish yourself. After 10 full price treatments you receive a free treatment. You don’t need to do anything – just book in and enjoy your treatment. I’ll keep track and let you know when your free treatment is available.

Reflexology: I had looked forward to my first Reflexology session with Dee and I wasn’t disappointed. She was professional, but friendly and I felt completely at ease. Starting the session with three deep breaths encouraged me to relax, a state which stayed with me throughout. Having warm socks put back on my feet at the end was a lovely caring touch. Feedback on the session from Dee was very interesting and following on, I am feeling more mentally focused. I shall certainly book again.

Great treatment in a fabulous atmosphere! With severe illness ongoing for 3 weeks (with ED visits due to dizziness, headaches and blood pressure issues) a friend recommended Reflexology to get to the root of the problems. I was skeptical when Dee suggested the transverse colon and cervical spine were sensitive spots. A week later and after a visit to an Osteopath as well it turned out to be just that! Have been a regular for a full body relaxation massage that leaves you feeling like you are floating on a cloud. Now there is an option that takes this to the next level with Reiki / massage combo. Depending on what your body needs you may feel relaxed, but more aware, with a burst of energy or another time it will be a deep, peaceful calm that lasts for days. You can continue working, but then return to a calm state more readily. Thanks Dee for keeping me balanced

One of my favourite things to do each week…… I love nothing better than to finish my week with a wee break from the world with Dee. I have two treatment faves, if I feel like total bliss and relaxation I opt for a full body relaxation massage, but if I have had a really hectic, chaotic or stressful week I like the Rieki/Massage combo. I love the combination of the relaxed feeling but it also calms my mind leaving me feeling grounded or Zenlike. I always feel incredibly calm for hours afterward. Thank you for your beautiful healing energy Dee.

This my first reflexology session and I didn't know what to expect. I absolutely loved it. Very relaxing. I felt much more energetic the next day and my headache and reflux were gone.
